Hailing from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, Jonathan Touch is a DJ and producer who began writing music in 2009 as one half of the Holyboyz, producing a discography of tech house and progressive house tunes. A music graduate, he has been honing craft for over a decade, bringing his music to China and across Russia, and regularly organising open air dance parties back home. Since going solo in 2017, his music has been released on labels from Brazil, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom, before joining the SRNDR Records family.
His debut SRNDR release, “Brotherhood”, is a progressive house tune that features a driving rhythm section and is lead by a euphonious guitar topline. Add to those tastefully curated blares, textures and synth arpeggiators and you get a melodic journey that celebrates the sounds of early trance and progressive house.
Jonathan Touch’s second release, “Imhotep”, is a progressive house beauty inspired by the ethnic sounds of ancient Egyptian culture, and exemplifies the Russian producer's immense talents in creating music that evokes a sense of drama and cinematic wonder. Featuring a jacking bassline that bites hard, relentless beats, a fitting melodic topline and perfectly-timed blares and textures, "Imhotep" is a track that will definitely take you back to a time when Pharaohs reigned supreme.
