Jaded Prysmo is a 19-year old DJ and producer from the Czech Republic, and one of the leading lights of the Liberec underground club scene. Principally inspired by the people and sounds of that scene, as well as DJ/producers such as Mark Knight, Fisher and Claptone, his productions cut across the spectrum of house music, ranging from deep funky house to tech-house.
His debut release on SRNDR Records is a two-track EP comprising two gloriously original school tech-house tracks. 'Cities' recalls the sounds of Matthias Heilbronn and New York's Wave Music circa 2000, with a jackin' groove anchored on a funky bassline, and a sweet saxophonic surprise during the break. 'Work My Body', written and produced by Jaded Prysmo and fellow-Czech collaborator Filip Longa, builds upon a dark and menacing bassline, with sounds and elements inspired by Chicago house and Detroit techno.
Jaded Prysmo’s second release on SRNDR Records is a collaboration with label head, Saiful Idris. Entitled “My Love”, the track recalls the sounds of early tech house with crisp beats, a jacking bassline and full-bodied, syncopated synths. Add to that a brazen vocal sample and timely blares and textures, and you get a track that is deceptively minimal but packs a punch.
