DJ Vistar returns to SRNDR with his latest jazz-infused, deep Afro house beauty titled “Vistar’s Award”. The track builds slowly but surely, driven by a melodic bassline, organic beats and subtle, atmospheric synths. “Cape to London”, originally released in March at the height of the COVID-19 storm, is re-released as a ‘B-side’, a lush and beautifully unpredictable accompaniment to the title track. Both tracks offers a wonderful insight into the producer’s proud cultural heritage, varied musical influences and soulful jazz aesthetics. The release would make a great addition to the musical library of fans of Osunlade, Atjazz, Jimspter, Dennis Ferrer and more.
