Currently based in Hollywood, California, Åírös spent his youth in underground warehouse raves and clubs in Dallas, Texas, and began DJing and producing at the age of 16. His productions fuse and transform influences from genres as varied as pop, classical, jazz, metal, house and more, and in doing so, he has sutured a distinct signature sound and identity that crosses boundaries. His tracks are highly energetic, structurally intriguing and naturally continues to seek the frontiers of electronic dance music.
The multi-faceted Åírös makes his SRNDR debut with the decidedly funky 'Pantheonic', and it is a banger. The track is driven by three critical elements: a tight, funky bassline, a syncopated, percussive guitar lick and a raucous saxophone melody, that together form a groovy cocktail that is bound to lift spirits and move bodies. As much at home in the club as it is on the beach, 'Pantheonic' is a definite must-have for any post-lockdown summer DJ set. In 2021, “Pantheonic” was given a fresh mix and master, as part of the “SRNDR Summer 2021” compilation EP. The EP is available now on all good digital music platforms.
