SRNDR Records' Summer 2021 compilation EP features four summer-centric tracks that would appeal to the most discerning house music aficionados. Meticulously curated, each track corresponds to a different part of a typical summer day. The compilation kicks off in the late, balmy afternoon with a fresh edit of 'Summer Daze', label head Saiful Idris' recent summer hit that features a jazzy saxophone lead gliding elegantly over a melodic bassline, crunchy beats and subtle arpeggiated synths. As the sun begins to set, cue Idris' 'Sundown', a deep house beauty with a Latin-esque flavour that features a tango-inspired bassline, warm, stabby pianos and a wafting, melodic lead. The next track comes courtesy of American producer, Åírös, whose summer 2020 hit 'Pantheonic' is given a clean and fresh sheen. Featuring a tight, funky bassline, syncopated, percussive guitar licks and a raucous saxophone melody, 'Pantheonic' is the perfect floor-filler for a sweaty, summer night party. The compilation closes with DJ Vistar, who returns to SRNDR for the third time with 'Soul After', a deep, jazz-infused, atmospheric Afro house beauty that starts off slowly before building up to a wonderfully gratifying end, making for a perfect late night closer.
